Welcome, (hopefully) fellow humans!

Hi! So, are you gonna read my blog or what? Why are you still reading this? This is boring! Either read the freakin blog or go away! I'm sorry, that was rude. Let me rephrase: Either read the freakin blog or please go away.
P.S. Save the penguins!

Underappreciated Movies

Okay so my mom and I were watching a movie and my mom mentioned how the movie had kinda fell by the wayside, and I realized that there are a lot of good movies (well, movies I think are good. Don't know about you guys) that have been forgotten and that no one talks about or really enjoys anymore. This was originally a list, you know, those things you can put as an extra on your blog, but I'd rather put the list on a post, so I did. Yay for me! Also it was originally just Disney movies, but I thought, what the heck?

Anyhoo. Here's the list:

Meet the Robinsons
The Aristocats
The Princess Diaries 1 and 2
Holes
Around the World in 80 Days
Home on the Range
The Emporer's New Groove
The Haunted Mansion
Monsters Inc.
Osmosis Jones
Open Season
Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Treasure Planet
The Little Mermaid 2
The Muppets Wizard of Oz
Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas
Brother Bear
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
A Series of Unfortunate Events
Night at the Museum
The Road to El Dorado
Ace Ventura 1 and 2
Tarzan
Anastasia
Shark Tale
The Cat in the Hat
Ice Age

And MY personal favorite: Moulin Rouge! xD

Wow, those are all, like, kid movies and animated movies. Whatever. Comment if you have any other movies you think are underappreciated or need to be recognized again!

hmmmm.... that's a good list.
However... I think that Monty Python and the Holy Grail is very underappreciated. Not a lot of people have watched it. And those that have watched it, haven't watched Monty Python's Flying Circus T-T

OK, Monty Python and Moulin Rouge are NOT children's movies, for the record. Also, Series of Unfortunate Events was a HORRID movie that didn't REMOTELY resemble the fantastic books, so it absolutely DESERVES to be under-appreciated, no offense to it, I'm sure it had noble intentions. Peter Pan and Notting Hill should be on there, as well as Two Weeks Notice and Sabrina. Night at the Museum should not be, because everyone has seen that movie and agrees that it was hilarious. (If you haven't seen it, you must be a terribly, terribly deprived person--I don't even know how you managed to get onto a computer you're so deprived.)

Also Chels, I must confess that I find it hurtful that you have not sited me as the person who came up with the original list of generally under-appreciated things, because I did. Or possibly I had that conversation with a totally different person and you had no clue, in which case I commend your brilliance for thinking on the same wavelength as my mind was on approximately 10 months to a year ago.

Sorry for the uber-long post!!! :) I did think that your list was pretty much great though and I liked all the Disney Movies on there that I've seen, too. Except I've never really liked Tarzan, but that's just me.

I'm sorry if I stole your idea of under-appreciated things, but my list is just for movies. Also, I think you were talking to someone else

Yes, I think it was possibly Kinsey and I discussing under-appreciated things like brochures and those tons of useless catalogues you get in the mail and it was at that "Women in Science" Day thing we had, which is why I may have been confused, because you were there, too, right?

Your new blog background is very bright. It shocked my eyes. (Seriously, a little jolt of electricity felt like it traveled the full length of my optic nerves. I'll send you my new optemetrist bill, 'kay?)

I'm not going to pay for you eye problems! I reFUSE to accept the bill!
